וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר יָשַׁ֥ב דָּוִ֖יד בְּבֵית֑וֹ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד אֶל־נָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֗יא הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֤י יוֹשֵׁב֙ בְּבֵ֣ית הָֽאֲרָזִ֔ים וַאֲר֥וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת יְרִיעֽוֹת׃
At nangyari, nang manirahan na si David sa kanyang bahay, sinabi ni David kay Natan na propeta: “Narito, ako ay naninirahan sa bahay na sedro, ngunit ang kaban ng tipan ng Walang-Hanggan ay nasa ilalim ng mga tabing.”
